Logging with four or five yoke of oxen together was not an uncommon thing for Wade Bennett.

We visited Wade and Mrs. Bennett at their country home, some four miles from Arbuckle, in September 1938. He had a yoke of splendidly matched oxen which he yoked up and had perform for us. They really performed too; part of the time over a hill and around a bend out of his sight but still in range of his voice. We have a picture of this yoke of oxen. He gave us an ox shoe which we prize highly. He died rather suddenly October 28, 1939. They had five children:

This all the information I received of Dr. Carl Enoch Hills' work. There probably was more because he ends with Nancy Hill who would have been his oldest sister, and does not go on to list the other eight children which he was the youngest of them.
